Welcome to the Gator Wrestling Club web site.
Gator Mission:
The purpose of the
Gator Wrestling Club is to assist in the growth and development of our youth. Wrestling stresses self-discipline
and physical conditioning giving the young student-athlete an opportunity to build self-confidence and control.
The Gator Wrestling Club started in 2001 and consists of K-8th grade wrestlers (female & male).
The Gator's practice site and dual meet location is at Marsh Junior High School. The 2011-12 season will be the 10th Anniversary
of the Gator Wrestling Club and to commomorate this historical event - the Club will be purchasing new uniforms that will
standardize the program.
The Gator Wrestling Club is organized and operated exclusively
for charitable purposes under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code [Tax ID #20-0106828].
The Gator Wrestling Club is the competitive arm of the Northern California Junior High Wrestling Section (www.norcaljrhighwrestling.com) and at the state level, the Gators compete in SCWAY Zone #1 (top 3 qualify for STATE) and attend the SCWAY California State
Championship at Clovis High School.
The Gator Wrestling Club's mission is to provide
competitve wrestling opportunities for our youth community at the Elementary and Junior High levels.
